The tale's protagonist is a Sicilian woman, Lilla, a small girl at the beginning and then a teenager who discovers sex, its possibly unexpected consequences and anti-contraceptive measures. A brief comical picture of a Sicily as a modern and vital woman, painted through the feminine voice both sung and recited.
Ca si fussi fimmina? is a 'woman' show in every respect. On the stage there is an infant's chair, a toy piano, children's rattles, all rigorously in pink, and in the place of the puppets ('pupi')and strings of the ballad singers, two little playmobil women, Lilla and Aida.
An amusing tale of womanhood told with the smile of a little girl.
